Ho Chi Minh City — In the last five months, the province of Gia Lai, the Central Highlands, has accumulated an export turnover of US$43 million, an increase of 110 per cent on 2006.
Coffee held more than half the export value with $24.4 million. Other exports, including latex and wood, remained stable.
The rubber industry, considered to be a strong force in the market, only reached a turnover of $3.4 million.
