US – Starbucks opens new store without trademark name, tests alcohol sales

MILAN – Starbucks Corp. announced opening a small store in the Seattle area that includes alcohol on the menu. The company is using an existing location on Capitol Hill and changing the name of it to ’15th Avenue Coffee and Tea’, reflecting the neighbourhood. They will serve coffee and tea as well as wine and beer. The chain said at least two more Seattle-area stores will be renamed for their neighbourhoods after remodelling, but the names and locations have not been finalized.
