A teenager was stabbed in the stomach outside a Tim Hortons coffee shop on the Mountain Monday evening.
Police say a 17-year-old Hamilton youth was stabbed in the abdomen around 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a Tim Hortons on Upper James Street.
The teen was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The attacker fled on foot. Investigators don’t know what prompted the attack.
A 21-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with assault with a weapon.
