Starbucks opens 50th French café

Giant roaster/retailer Starbucks in early July opened its 50th outlet in France, five years after entering the market, newspaper Le Figaro reported.
The Seattle-based Starbucks sees France as having strong growth potential, the report said, quoting the company’s chairman Howard Schultz.
France is Starbucks’ sixth largest European market, after the UK, Germany, Turkey, Spain and Greece. The company has about 1,200 outlets in Europe, out of a total of around 16,500 worldwide
