Cape Town – South Africa will see next month the launch of The Snippet, a new franchising concept coming from the UK. The Snippet is a free weekly publication that is distributed to coffee shops, cafés, restaurants, hairdressers, business centres and other places that people wait.
Building upon the three-year success story of The Snippet UK, this publishing concept has been adapted to the South African market. It operates on a local basis and is said to be unique in two respects:
It offers exclusive advertising – no competing business can advertise during the three-, six- or 12-month period that another business in a particular sector advertises.
Its editorial is light-hearted and entertaining, each week themed with something for everyone -recipes, horoscopes and fun quotes, plus information about local events.
