Eleven coffee enthusiasts from Austria, Germany and Switzerland (pictured) took part successfully in the SCAE’s second Authorised Trainer course on November 10 and 11, reports Education Committee Chair Inga Schäper.
The course, the second of its kind held in German, was kindly hosted in Berne by Blaser Café.
Coffee education is a pillar of SCAE’s mission and activities. Authorised SCAE Trainers (ASTs) are our most important ambassadors in spreading the coffee knowledge that is vital to achieving our aims. They help to promote awareness about coffee quality among caterers and consumers, through their highly professional work in implementing the SCAE educational programme. — Inga Schäper
