Pysical Market:

The physical coffee market start the week with , same fridays prices ,trades @ R$ 270,00 for new crop 15% defects. Offers forcoffee harvest 09/10 R $ 285.00 R $ 290.00; Crop 10/11 R $ 268.00 R $ 2730.00, with 15% of grooming, and coffees with 20% grooming R $ 275.00 to 280.00, crop 09.10 and $ 263.00 to 267.00 harvest.

BM&F Arabica coffee settlement for Set/10 was U.S. $ 157,15 with 0,55 higher, totalizing 1.815 contracts of volume. Spread Set / Dec traded@ 1,05 to 1,30. Arbitrations Set / Set at -14,50 to -15.20; Sep / Dec -16,00 to -16,60; and Z/Z @ -14,80 to-15,50. Market Coffee worked the day without many oscillations accompanying the NY market, which was supported by fund buying. Even with the fall of the international scene and also for some agricultural commodities the market found support.

July coffee contract ended at 132,25, with 15 points lower and ranged between 131.60 and 133.00.Following again the negative trend of the euro against the dollar, the coffee price on this Monday worked predominantly with little drop in a short 140 points range.

Pressed by the uncertainty global economy, the grain had no strength to hold and recorded the lowest daily at 131.60, where with some defense, combined with some improvement in the global scenario the price gained some breathing space to go up, and with some new purchases, easily reached their highest daily at 133.00, where scored a double top, creating some resistance, and with some sales volume returned to work on the openness levels, and without much oscillations waxed the day quoted at 132.25with 15 points lower.
