World coffee exports amounted to 8.63 million bags in February 2013, compared with 9.73 million in February 2012. Exports in the first 5 months of coffee year 2012/13 (Oct/12 to Feb/13) have increased by 9.6% to 46.49 million bags compared to 42.41 million bags in the same period in the last coffee year. In the twelve months ending February 2013, exports of Arabica totalled 66.96 million bags compared to 65.60 million bags last year; whereas Robusta exports amounted to 46.61 million bags compared to 39.22 million bags.
