VIETNAM – Arabica production to surge in CY 2010/11

MILAN – Arabica production in coffee year 2010/2011 is expected to surge more than 20 percent to 45,000 tons due to an expanded planting area.
 
Export may range between 500,000 and 583,000 bags, according to trade estimates. Last year, Vietnam produced 37,000 tons of Arabica coffee.
