Coffee Republic announces expansion plans after rescue
4th October 2009
Coffee chain Coffee Republic, which earlier this year was rescued from administration by property concern Arab Investment, is to open 20 new outlets across the UK within the next year, the company announced in late September.
Coffee Republic said that it had already leased a unit on the top-floor observation deck of The Pinnacle, a 63-storey skyscraper being built in the City of London, which will eventually become the country’s second tallest building.
The chain currently has 60 outlets in the UK and another 20 outside the country in various markets including Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
