The SCAE has scheduled the next in its popular Authorised Trainer courses for Monday/Tuesday, October 5-6 at the Association’s offices at Bicknacre, near Chelmsford, Essex.
The two-day course will cover teaching methodology for SCAE trainers, and provide a full overview of the individual education modules, including green coffee, roasting, packaging, grinding, automatic machines, espresso machines, filter coffee and machines, decaffeinated coffee, milk, water/filtration, establishing and operating a coffee bar and coffee and spirits.
Also included will be a detailed explanation of the SCAE Authorised Trainer contract, and a group discussion with a short presentation from each participant on what they hope to offer students and what they expect from the SCAE.
The intensive course, which includes two lunches and a dinner hosted by the SCAE, costs €1,000, and successful completion confers a three-year certification as an official SCAE Authorised Trainer. The course is for SCAE members only.
