The SCAE’s Training Centre, at its newly expanded headquarters at Bicknacre, near Chelmsford in Essex, is taking shape, thanks to generous sponsorship of some the best suppliers in the sector.
The centre is in the process of commissioning two new espresso machines, a roaster, and a filter brewer, all of which will be used in the upcoming training sessions to be held at the SCAE offices.
The SCAE would like to express its deep appreciation to Dalla Corte and to Quality Espresso for providing the espresso machines; to Toper for the roaster; and to Marco Beverage System for the filter brewer, all of which are earmarked for future training courses for baristas and for Gold Cup brewmasters.
Also helping to equip the training centre are Asachimici (Puly Caff), FAC Porcellana, and Motta Metallurgica, who are also owed a vote of thanks from the Association for their invaluable assistance.
