CURIOSITY – Austrians like vanilla ice-Cream

MILAN –Vanilla is the nation’s favourite ice-cream in Austria concluded an online survey conducted by meinungsraum.at. Fifty per cent of respondents said vanilla was their favourite flavour, with chocolate second with 48%, Stracciatella third (46%) and strawberry fourth (44%).

One in ten of the 500 people contributing in the poll said they ate ice cream on a daily basis during summer while 50 per cent eat it at least once a week.

Although Austria is regarded as a country of coffee lovers, 31% of respondents said they would never eat coffee-flavoured ice cream
