US – McCafe gives away free coffees

MILAN – To promote its new line of McCafe espresso drinks, McDonald’s is giving away free small mochas. Customers can pick up a 7-ounce iced mocha or an 8-ounce hot mocha from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating locations. The promotion lasts through August 3 and is one of the largest nation-wide promotions the burger joint has ever done.

As already reported, Starbucks said it will give away 280,000 free pints of ice cream to Facebook users in the next two weeks, as part of National Ice Cream Month.

Through July 19, registered Facebook users can sign up for a coupon redeemable for a free pint of any flavour of Starbucks ice cream.
