INDONESIA – Exports earnings to fall sharply this year

MILAN – The executive secretary of the Association of Indonesian Coffee Exporters, or Aeki Rachim Kartabrata said yesterday that Indonesia’s coffee exports reached US$900 million last year. This year’s earnings are seen at only $630 million.
In addition, Indonesia’s coffee output is expected to decrease this year, from 420,000 tons last year to 350,000 tons this year.
